Rishi Sunak escaped a grilling today when his advisor pulled him from an interview where they didn’t like the direction of questions posed (nice to know the government see themselves as above accountability), the scene played out as journalists questioned him over Boris Johnson’s drink parties during lockdown.
The advisor was later heard to complain saying, “Why are you, as a journalist, trying to hold us to account? we will pick and choose what questions we want to answer?”
Nice to know we live in a free democracy where politicians are not above the rest of us! 🤣
