Magistrates opened a murder investigation after the death this month of Iman Fadil
The Moroccan-born model, 34, who was due to give evidence at a former Italian prime minister’s bribery trial but has been killed in what would appear to be a murder.
Iman who attended some of Silvio Berlusconi’s bunga-bunga dinners and had spoken to lawyers about what happened concerning the payment of underage sex by participants has died in hospital, allegedly killed by radioactive poisoning.
Ms Fadil is said to have told her family and lawyer that she had been poisoned. After tests in hospital magistrates said that she had symptoms seen in similar poisoning attacks.
Radioactive Substance Poisoning
Toxicology test results have now shown that she had been killed by a “mix of radioactive substances” said news agency ANSA.
Ms Fadil was scheduled to speak in court and give evidence about claims that the former Italian PM Mr Berlusconi offered to buy silence from women who attended parties at his villa near Milan and paid other guests to remain quiet.

“Poisoned with a mixture of radioactive substances in the Russian style, #ImanFadil (34), model of Moroccan origin who was to testify as a witness in the case against ex-Italian PM Silvio Berlusconi. It seems that the friendship between Berlusconi and Vladimir Putin is narrow.” https://t.co/HbQ4I6NK1S
